Summary of Main Activities Scaffolding, Site office, Old chicken house.
Description of the week's work This week we see the beginnings of the scaffolding being erected. Scaffolding will go around the whole building except for the northwest corner which is to be completely demolished. The site office has been placed near the building site and will be used by the site foreman, the architect and as a sales office later on in the development.
The old chicken house, which is detached from the main building, has had the roof taken down and is soon to be demolished in preparation for a new replacement building. This will become a small independent house with garden over-looking the planned swimming pool.
A few more internal walls have been demolished along with the remaining ceilings on the top floor. All rendering from walls on the top floor has been removed to expose the original brickwork of the walls.
