SUMMER ESCAPES: new-builds, from €35,000 APD-06

Summer Escapes are low impact country retreats that provide low cost summer homes for a true 'away from it all' holiday experience.

The properties in this category can be finished internally and externally with materials and architectural features to create the character and appearance of rustic or modern homes.

SUMMER ESCAPES can be realised only as new-build projects so would require a building plot or a plot with an existing property to be demolished.

Better than a caravan, a secure holiday home construction that provides........... secure and comfortable accommodation with the essential modern comforts - lighting, water, sewage and electricity. With the addition of a log-burning stove, these homes can also be used comfortably during the winter too since they are well insulated.

SUMMER ESCAPES come complete with a choice of external finishes and roofs. Water, electricity, sewage and gas are standard features and the designs can incorporate high levels of insulation should winter use be required. Shower room with toilet, combined kitchen and lounge plus seperate bedroom is generally to be considered the typical layout. Obviously individual SUMMER ESCAPES can be designed smaller or larger, depending only on your particular wishes and local planning considerations.

Property designs start with;
* Studio properties (30m2) comprising; 1 bathroom, open-planned living space with kitchen / lounge and bedroom area, covered terrace and garden - from €35,000.
* 1-bedroomed properties (45m2) comprising; 1 bathroom, 1 double bedroom, open-planned living space with kitchen / lounge and study area, covered terrace and garden - from €50,000.
* 2-bedroomed properties (60m2) comprising; 1 bathroom, 2 double bedrooms, open-planned living space with kitchen / lounge and study area, covered terrace and garden - from €65,000.
There is no practical upper limit to the size or number of rooms, subject to the planning regulations associated with a plot. The prices above cover design and build, and do not include the plot purchase price. Garages can be built at extra cost, and prices start from €15,000.
