Villanova d'Albenga airport 29kms (0hr30).
Milan 2hrs, France (Cote d'Azure) 1hr, the Italian Lakes 2hr15,
Florence 3hrs, Switzerland 2hr15, Venice 4hr15. A 10hr45 drive
from Calais or a 2hr flight from London to Genova.
The nearest ski resorts are just 1 hr away with the world famous
resorts of Cervina/Zermatt and Courmayeur just under 3hrs away
by car. Sauze d'Oulx, for the 'Milky Way', is less than 2.5hrs
away.
Nearest village with shops, restaurants, cafes and bars is a
5 minute, 300m walk away. Finalborgo, listed as one of the most

How to get there
Getting to Airole is
simple and straight forward. Situated approximately 8 miles north
of Ventimiglia on the Italian Riviera Coastline, Airole is on
the main SS20 road heading towards Sospel and cuneo. |

By Air - There are international airports at Nice (about
31 miles), Turin (about 164 miles), and Genoa (about 108 miles)
- all of which offer flights from the Uk, most with “budget
Airlines” and provide easy onward access by rail, bus or
car to Ventimiglia and then Airole.
By Rail - If you wish to make your entire
journey from the UK by rail, Eurostar offer fast and frequent
services to Nice and onward to Ventimiglia from London Waterloo
and Ashford.
By Car - Take your own car to Airole if you like. Perhaps
you would like to go via the Channel Tunnel, then choose your
own route to Airole about 800 miles from the tunnel exit at Sangatte/Calais,
or contact the AA for detailed printed routes and maps. |
